Now I always make them do it but when our Jake is told to do something, he will do it then make the cutest noise like "aarrrooo-ooo" sort of like he is trying to talk back at me. I'm wondering why people can assume ALL puppies purchased online are from BYB's or puppy mills? The finest dogs from long lines of champions all have web sites and if you are lucky are willing to sell the puppies to you. I believe a BYB or puppy mill is something quite different. A BYB does not breed for the betterment of the breed but for other reasons such as money or "won't it be cute". They do not do the testing of their dogs nor the showing of their dogs before they put the litter into the process of breeding. Puppy mills usually breed more than 1 type of breed and do not specialize in them and do not do the testing or showing that would improve the breeds they 'raise'. From my experience, the best dogs that are champions all have web sites and 'sometimes' they allow their puppies to be purchased. The great breeders spend lots of time showing off their dogs and what they have accomplished.
