When your dog is doing something you do not want him/her to do?

Now I always make them do it but when our Jake is told to do something, he will do it then make the cutest noise like "aarrrooo-ooo" sort of like he is trying to talk back at me. I have the hardest time not laughing so I always have to look away when he does it. Do your dogs do some cute, almost human thing?

Update:

10 points to the cutest action by your dog (if I believe it could happen)

Yes my dog does a tons of cute things

    He snores

He places his paw on his face when he knows he's in trouble

He moves things to different parts of the house

And when he wants you attention he puts his paw on you shoulder or nudges you with his nose.

Tilly is my first small dog ever. She is mini-schnauzer and has that Ah-rooo that sounds like Mrs. Doubtfire saying Helloooooo. She is really smart and minds very well except when she runs off with my shoe. She takes my right shoe as I am tieing my left one. When I say "Tilly give me my shoe", she starts bouncing while she continues to get farther away. If I start to go after her she runs full speed to the left of the garden and if I pause she will stop and come closer but the minute I take a step <<<>>>off she goes again. She runs laughingly away and only gives me my shoe when she wants to. When I give up and go in the house for another pair of shoes she will drop my shoe in the middle of the yard. I usually find her lying on the couch acting like it was all a dream.

Everyone knows that somebody is going to get 10 points. That is the way this system works. We all know that & it is not something we worry about. I answer question only to try to help, sometimes I get best answer & sometimes I don't no big deal.

As I am leaving to go somewhere the dogs all stop infront of me to prevent me from going any further. I have to zig zag to the gate cause there are three of them & they know if they are right in front of me I can't move forward. so it takes a little time to just get to the gate.

That's exactly what he's doing-talking back! I know it's hard not to laugh, but laughing reinforces it.

My dog does it too sometimes, usually if she is all wound up and wants to play and I tell her to sit or down. She'll comply, but she gets vocal about it.

My dog used to come over, sit next to me and slap a paw on my leg to get my attention, but I trained her out of the paw bit. Now she just sits there and waits for me

She will paw at her water dish if it's empty to let me know.

My dog talks back at me, as if to say err no lady, I am not listening, and then he wags his tail and bounces up and down like a yo yo.

If I ever asked my dog to sit or lie down, he'll roll first and then do the command...xD It's so cute because sometimes he'll pause while he's on his back, stare at us, then roll back over and then sit or lie down. xD
