Muslims tend to be generally unhappy about everything and quite angry about it all. When's the last time you encountered a happy, satisfied Muslim?

That is NOT what the article said, though that may have been what you deduced. What was expressed was a belief that as an American, Obama will continue to do as America has done under the Reagan-Bush-Bush administrations. They are being realistic, not "unimpressed".
