a Pregnany dog and her temperature?

This is her first litter and her temperature is 99.3 how many more days do we have till she whelps?

Update:

We have been very careful with our Boxers and didnt deside to breed them until they started their shows and were a good conformation. They have had all their tests for Heart murmurs, hep despl. etc.

Update 2:

I only ask because I'm not sure how long t will take to get to 98 degrees from this point and want to be near her while she is whelping. I do not need a lecture on breeding dogs so if that is why you answer, move on to the next question.

Update 3:

ok, so I misspelled somethng! Shoot me!

Here is a great site to give you some information. Since you have had all the testing done I am guessing you have a good relationship with your vet so you may want to give him or her a call. Every dog is different and so just listing one temperature doesn't really mean much...it's how the temp changes over a few days.

    Good luck!

  • You should ask one of your breeder friends from the shows. You should have made plenty of contacts.

    *sigh*

    Phone your vet.

Or phone a local breeder who would be willing to help you.
