Are gas prices really going up, in order to help build the Dubai Boom Building?

I find it appalling how naive people are when they tell you that the oil producers are ripping people off. Oil prices are going up not because the oil producers are greedy. It's a simple example of supply and demand.
The oil supply has always been limited. There's just so much oil that these countries produce. But with global population growing at an increasing rate, cars coming on the streets at an exponential rate, the demand is way up higher. If they start
selling you oil at low prices, they're going to run out of oil. Oil prices are going how to slow down the rate at which people consume oil. It's our need for a luxury car, constant electricity at home to power hardly-essential appliances that drives the oil prices up.
So if you don't like the Dubai Boob Building, bike to work and turn off your appliances when they're not in use and make an attempt to see those four fingers pointing back at yourself. Blaming the Middle East for capitalizing on its resources is as lame as blaming Germany for making money off of luxury cars!
