I received a traffic ticket for going 77 in a 45 in the state of South Carolina. I have a court date in Two weeks, I was told I didnt have to show up. The office gave me a number to call to get the price of the ticket. The lady over the phone told me I have to pay 185.00 if its paid before my court date if I pay after the court date it will be 445.00. Thats a big difference. When i looked up my ticket it said I have to pay 445.00. She said the only way I can pay is by cashiers check or come in to the office. Why was I given two different prices?

Florida resident my sons father has not seen him since Nov 09. I found out he joined the Army, he doesn't know that I know. He is no longer in the same state, is this legal?
