My friend, the taxi fare from Newark to Times Square is roughly $50, which include tolls and tips. My advice take that $50, buy yourself a $15 train ticket and take the train from Newark Airport to Penn Station New York.

    $50 - $15 train ticket = $35 left over.

Once at Penn Station, you can take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line on the subway map) from Penn Station to Times Sqaure. The fare is $2 one way.

    $35 - $2 subway fare = $33 left over.

See the money you're saving, not to mentioned the headaches.

I hope this information is very helpful.

    Good luck

    Hi,

ouch, i don't know, but it's over $30 from jfk or lga to manhattan. i'd figure on $80 or a lot more. and at least twice the travel time.

check out the amtrak rail system:

go from newark int'l airport to new york penn station... the fare is $38-$50 one way, per person, takes about a half hour.

you can take a cab for about $5 with tip, or a subway for one stop for $2, or walk the 11 blocks or so to times square.

sorry, try to call a cab company for fares.

    Happy Travels!
