Answer the question for yourself. You have been high jumping for 4 years...Is 3'9" a really good jump for someone of your experience level? Answer that question as if someone else were asking that question about a friend of yours. Then- Ask your coach if you could do one full session just doing long jump. You have developed good thighs by high jumping, however, if you are a really good sprinter, you can combine the power of your thighs plus the speed of your spring, and who knows...You might really surprise yourself and others even more. I'd say give the long jump a really good go, and see which one you think you're best suited for. Good luck!

Without falling--- probably 2 feet, and then I usually end up on the ground with a bruise the next day--- jumping is not what I call my "forte" :)

Probably 1 foot. I was always afraid to try the hurtles in gym class when I was in elementary school.
