He needs a green card to join the US armed forces. The fastest way is a sponsor

You must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident to join the Marine Corps. By the time he could immigrate legally and become a permanent legal resident he would be too old join.
This is not a realistic career goal at all. You can't start learning to figure skate at 18 and hope to become an Olympic champion. Stop daydreaming!
