Will Hillary Clinton run for her NY Senate seat again in 2012?

Or do you think she just saw that as a stepping stone to the White House? Now that she has lost the nomination, is there any reason for her to stay in the Senate?

She did just use it as a stepping stone. She moved over to NY for an easy run against an unpopular republican. But she's obsessed with becoming president so she'll run again for senate. She'll lose her senate seat no matter what. Her popularity in New York is waning more than anyone wants to admit. But if Obama lost pfffff her career as a subpar junior senator would be over.

Absolutely...she's a power monger. Being a Senator is a cushy job with a lot of influence, and I don't think she's one to just give that up at only 64. If Obama get elected, he'll probably run for a second term, in which case there's no point in reliving this year's primary nightmare by her challenging the incumbent president for the nomination. If McCain wins, everybody will be so sick of Republicans that she'll fight for the nomination again, and probably win by saying "I told you so!" about Obama, and then get the White House, too.

I think she'll be more interested in running for President against either McCain or whoever the Repubs decide to replace him with when he decides not to run for re-election. It would be difficult to run for both.
