How do I convince my mom (picture inside)...?

...to let me get a snakebite piercing? I'll be 16 in two weeks and for my birthday I want just one stud on my left side under my lip, I don't even want both! She claims that if I get it done that no adult will take me seriously, for instance at job interviews, and all they'll see is "another irresponsible teenager" which is completely untrue because I am in all accelerated and AP classes that I could be taking. I don't even need a job, I babysit for this lady and make much more than I'd be making for minimum wage. How can I convince her to let me get it done? And do you think I'd look good with it?
