For mommies who have had more then one child?

So i have been having loose stools all week. Yesterday they were loose not quite diarrhea. This morning i woke up at 4am and they have been watery. So then about 10 minutes ago i had this big jelly like substance with brown tinge come out of me. I assume this is my mucus plug? This is my third child it has been almost 4 years sense i have had a child. When you lost your mucus plug how much longer did it take for you to go into labor? Thanks!

Update:

Sorry this morning at 4am i had watery Diarrhea!

Update 2:

This is my third child. :D

I lost mine the day before my second child was born, and 2 weeks prior to having my first. What you describe is your mucous plug, and the brown tinge suggests bloody show. That, combined with the diarrhea, means your body is gearing up for labor. Good luck!

OMG! like this sounds just like me 6 months ago..lol, i have 3 kids, my youngest being 6 months like i said, I woke up one morning thinking i was gonna clean my house and I was feeling fine, i was pooping that way the day before but not the day of, so i go to the bathroom (10 a.m.) i remember..lol, and I didnt feel anything but when i wiped there was a slimy, pretty thick, clear with a pink tint discharge, i was like, I can't believe this! lol, i've never experienced that with my other 2 or i guess i never noticed..anyway, i ended up resting and not cleaning after all and later that night around 9 p.m. i was laying in bed watching The Real Housewifes of Orange County..lol, and i kept changing positions and at one point i felt something pop, i'm guessing that was my water that broke, i went to the bathroom and there was that big jelly like substance you're talking about with brown tinge and almost instantly my contractions kicked in, i left my house around 11:40 p.m. and got to the hospital at midnight, and i gave birth at 4 a.m. but everyone is different, just cause you lost your mucous plug doesn't mean you'll be going into labor soon. Good luck!

When I lost the large portion of my plug it was 6 in the evening and my daughter was born at 10:12 the next morning. Could be really soon. Start to monitor your contractions and keep track of how close they are and if the pain is getting worse. If you are past 36 weeks and it's ok to go in to labor. Try doing house work or going for a long walk. Congrats!

For me, it was about 7 days after I lost my mucus plug, with my first child, and about 3 days for my second one. It sounds like you are getting close though! Some women have diarrhea before labor begins, its nature's way of "cleaning" you out before the birth. My sister had it on and off for about 5 or 6 days before she went into labor.

With my first child, I had her 9 hours after I lost my plug. With my second daughter I had her a week later. I just depends. Congrats and Good Luck. Shouldn't be too much longer.

I had my 2nd within 8 hours of losing my mucus plug. I also had loose stools a few days before. I think you are verrrry close!
