Had a dental brigde, it has broke, is this normal ?

A week ago , it actually cracked in half. It involved the upper molars, is this something we should consider a fault of the dentist, which we have been patients of his for years, and something the dentist has overlooked ? The brigde has been in place for over a year. Dental cleanings are done every 3 months, so if receding gum lines where at fault, wouldn't that have been noticed ? The question is do we comment to the doctor that this is something he needs to replace with no monies invovled ? And what could cause something like this.

usually bridge don't brake. Try and convince the dentist to make a new one free of cost or just lab charges. It depend on the dentist & how you can convince him. Bridges are supposed to last a life time.

it's normal and a possibility of a bridge. he should be able to glue it back on. . . or replace the bridge, unless the teeth broke...

if that's the case i would look into getting an implant. he can snap your bridge into the implant. :)

implants are much more expensive than bridges but i prefer them over anything... nothing is as real as your own tooth than an implant.

you should call your doctor and see what the case was, he should be able to fix it, esp if it was his fault no problem. but, if it just failed b/c its old, than it needed to be replaced. bridges do not last forever, neither do teeth. :( talk to your doctor and see what your options are. either way, it's not abnormal.

Not almost always. There's frequently lunch breaks of a few variety. It is smart for staff in any healthcare atmosphere to take breaks on account that they're running on sufferers. The train simply perhaps very disciplined or they're too busy to take the ones breaks. It additionally perhaps their possess selection.
