I 'was' an x-ray tech & injured my shoulder. Not working now & have been dealing with this for 10 yrs, 9 surgeries, lots of medication. Will still need on going pain mangement & P.T., last surgery in 2011. I'm offered a sum of 70,000 to end Work Comp and settle the case. I'm 56, other than shoulder, I'm in great health, I do have Medi-care to supplement my health ins. Need help in deciding this. Pls, if I could get some input.

Have a very rusty caste iron skillet, what is the best way to clean, season, and get it ready for cooking ?

I have an old photo that was in a frame, the glass has since 'stuck' to the glass and I don't want to rip the photo away from the glass. Is there some way I can safely remove the photo off the glass ? Steaming ?

Have learn alittle about homesteading, understand that it can protect a homeowners house from creditors, such as credit card companies, etc. Does also cover bills incured from hospitalization ? And how long does it last for, before having to re-apply ?

Taking a trip to Vegas and wouldn't mind haven a cocktail on the plane. But don't want to pay the price. Can I bring in a zip-lock bag a small un-opened plastic bottle of liquor with a un-opened can of tomato juice through the check points ? Leaving soon and need to know. We have monies invested, but not that much, have lost over $8,000 within this last year. Have heard that if one can't hang on for at least 5 years, it should be pulled out. We'd rather put what we have left in savings, maybe invest with oil or a house, ( that would be rented ), what we think is a better investment right now. Would really like some opinions. We know oil is low, but can only think that it would eventually rise, the same idea with housing.

A friend was arrested for that and the officer did not adminster the breathalyzer or any other tests, like one would get for a DUI. She had to spend 2 hrs in jail, and then released. And will she have a fine and have to do community service, attend classes, or even serve more jail time? And if required by law that she should have had those tests done, will the case be dismissed ?

My mother had the vase, she was french and brought it back from France, the vase is in beautiful condition. It was suppose to have been in the family for years. Does anyone know about these vases ? I have looked up some history on them. Mine is a golden color with oak leaves on it.

I just found today a penny minted in 1946, with the wheat around it and a 's' below the date. Abraham Lincoln on the dated side and ' One Cent ' on the other with the wheat circling. Any idea on what it might be worth ? Not a coin collector myself, but this seems pretty cool.

A week ago , it actually cracked in half. It involved the upper molars, is this something we should consider a fault of the dentist, which we have been patients of his for years, and something the dentist has overlooked ? The brigde has been in place for over a year. Dental cleanings are done every 3 months, so if receding gum lines where at fault, wouldn't that have been noticed ? The question is do we comment to the doctor that this is something he needs to replace with no monies invovled ? And what could cause something like this.
