Can I take un-opened mini liquor bottles on carry on ? ?
Taking a trip to Vegas and wouldn't mind haven a cocktail on the plane. But don't want to pay the price. Can I bring in a zip-lock bag a small un-opened plastic bottle of liquor with a un-opened can of tomato juice through the check points ? Leaving soon and need to know. Don't want to buy if it's going to be thrown away.

Absolutely not. No alcohol is allowed onto a commercial flight for the purpose of drinking it on-board. You can bring back 4 bottles of wine if you fly certain carriers, but you cannot open those up during the flight.
Actually there is a way - hide it in your bloodstream, but if you're too drunk, they can refuse you boarding.

the tomato juice would have to be 2 oz. and they dont allow nips. your carry on is checked when you walk through the metal detector, and everything has to fit in a quart sized ziplock

any liquids need to be less than 3 ozs. each airport/airline may have different rules though for carrying on alcohol. just called them and ask. im sure you wont be the first person to ask
