Boxing DQ's?

Interesing question Devon. I didn't see that particular fight you are referring to, but I would have probably had the same reaction to the DQ as you. Of course one of the most controversial fights that ended in a DQ was the second Holyfield vs Tyson fight when of course Mike bit off Evander's ear. I was at some friends house who purchased it nad ready for a great showdown. That really upset us all and needless to say was very disappointing. Of course the Roy Jones DQ was bad in my opinion and as Ruddinger mentioned, a bizzare one was the fight between Golota and Bowe where Golota was clearly winning and still resorted to fouling over and over again after repeat warnings.

As for bad calls I think that fight takes the cake! I haven't seen nothing that stupid, I'm shocked!!! that a ref like Cortez would make such a horrible call!

Like Woody said the other bullshit one in recent memory is Jones DQ loss to Griffin. Jones landed a light hook when Griffin was down on a knee. Griffin looked up at the ref and complained, when his complaint went unanswered he pretending to be hurt and slumped the canvass. Horrible acting job by Griffin.

A crazy DQ you should check out is Riddick Bowe vs Andrew Gollata, In a fight Golatta was winning easily he repeatedly hit Riddick Bowe low with 3 and 4 punch combos. It was the most bizarre thing i had seen, a guy who is having an easy time beating up his opponent decides to start hitting him low until the ref stops it. Not too mention the riot that ensued.

And then in the second fight he did it again! its was really mind boggling to watch.

Henry Awkinwande was Disqualified against Lewis for repeatedly holding like a frightended kitten. It was deserved though, have not seen too many shows of cowardice like that one.

My memory can't recall a disqualification worst than this past Saturday. Not even Roy Jones' DQ was as bad as Soto's and I was very angry at that one.

Evander Holyfield got DQed in the Olympics it was just as bad ROY JONES Jr. was just as bad. I watched that fight last Saturday night and I knew they were going to do that. And the fighter who got his *** kicked should be a shamed to even accept the win

Not yet and haven't witnessed the fight. To what I've heard, the opponent of sotto deserves a famas award for being the best actor of the night.

No man, tell me why I watched that might online and I almost pissed myself, I was so angry. And I'm not even into Soto.
