What kind of hamster do i have?

I'm guessing it's a Syrian. She does look unique because he almost has the face of a rat. She's also is long and slender. Very cute! But she is obviously not a Dwarf, Chinese, or Russian, so you hamster is a Syrian.

there are two different kinds of hamsters, Syrian, and Dwarf, all those name such as Black bear, are just fancy names for their kind. It's your decision what kind to get. What ever one is nice, and takes your heart. Don't listen when people say, oh dwarfs are all mean and bite, because thats fake, and I have had dwarf hamsters and they are loving and friendly. Don't get me wrong, so are Syrian hamsters, that is the kind of hamster i have right now. It depends really, do you want a large hamster? Do you want a small hamster? What color? What gender? You need to ask yourself these questions, then go to the place you are getting your hamster, and look for the PERFECT hamster. That's what I did and now I have a new best friend, a black bear Syrian hamster, named Clowie.

Its defenatly a syrian. If you dont think so then ask a local vet or get a book on types of hamsters. Also would'nt you know what hamster you bought.

well. at first i thought it was a chinese but it doesnt have a long tail.... probably a syrian- syrians come in all sorts of colours and patterns.

maybe a pearl arched siberian or a Lilac Satin Syrian i think she looks more like a Lilac Satin Syrian.

She looks like a Panda Bear hamster. My brother has one. He's got the same shape, only he's all black with white paws and a white streak going down his face.

i am guessing that she is a syrain, but i dont really know. cuz she looks like a chinese but does not have a long tail. would your vet know the breed? i would ask your vet.
