the 45acp is typically more accurate than the 9mm. this is partially due to the guns they are shot out of, since most 9mm pistols are factory stock while most 45 are factory custom these days. in similar quality pistols, there isn't that much difference, although i believe the 45 will edge out the 9mm in accuracy overall.

this is why you don't see too many target 9mm while target 45acp is very common.

Neither one. The 9mm may have more ‘reach’ before it starts dropping but both rounds are inherently accurate. Say every bit as accurate as the shooter.

It depends on the firearm, not necessarily the bullet; longer barrels create a more accurate bullet...

.45 is a larger round that travels at a slower velocity, but has much greater stopping power than a 9mm

I have read before that the 45acp is one of the most accurate rounds that ever was produced.I'm sure some people would argue with me about it,but I also seen this first hand over the years.

you are more accurate or less accurate:

the 9mm has a higher velocity and at short range should provide more accuracy

Breathe, Relax Aim, Squeeze, Fire.*~~ Its the shooter, not the caliber that determines effectiveness, and accuracy.* Any good pistol or revolver is accurate in capable, practiced hands.*~~

It depends on the firearm and the shooter not the round.

The .45 ACP is seen more in competition than the 9x19. That says a lot.

With 2 firearms that will shoot as accurate as each other the 9mm will because:

    smaller bullet = smaller hole

If you could put every bullet in the same hole a 9mm would have a smaller group because of the smaller hole but they would still be just as accurate as each other.

It depends on who's shooting it.
