I have a 2 1/2 month old baby and might be prego... Is anyone in the same boat?

Question

I am married and love my new baby. I don't want to be pregnant again until my body gets a chance to heal up. We were using condoms while I waited to get off my antibiotics to start birth control. I had my period and should have had my period again. I took two pregnancy tests one was positive and the other was negative. Could this just be the hormones from my last pregnancy and screwed up post pregnancy periods? Or is this probably crappy condoms and I should keep re testing to see if I am pregnant? My 2 1/2 month old baby is a condom baby... The condom ripped...

i too am married and have a one yr old daughter, and found out i was preg with my second when she was 3 months old(i'm due any time now) its really hard to say bc everyones bodies are different..but my periods were reg again and after i missed one (went over by two weeks) i took a preg test thinking it would be negative and it was pos. I would say just go to the doc and have them test you..better to be safe than sorry!

oh dear, im not in the same boat but i have been there, when i had my son i had an "accident" and got pregnant with my daughter 10 weeks after he was born. if you are pregnant it will be hard work i can tell you that, i also got postnatal depression after having my daughter and the doctors reckon its because my hormones didnt have enough time to go back  to normal and went crazy! if i were you i would take another test first thing in the morning, i dont think you would still be testing positive this far after having your baby if you wernt pregnant, good luck x

Your hormones are definitely a mess for several months after having a baby.  I don't know if that can give you a false pregnancy test result though.  Definitely call your Dr.

I have a 7 month old baby and when he was about 3 months i just had this feling i was pregnant, did a test but was negative, i was very upset as secretly wanted another one very soon. Congrats sounds like u pregnant, and dont worry u will cope :)

I would go in to the doctor and have them count your HCG hormone. Have them check it, and then check it again a couple days later to see if it is increasing. Good luck :)
