What is the average size of a natural gas deposit in the USA?
I ask because a co-worker is claiming that a gas company has contacted him and they said there is a gas deposit under his property that is 200 Trillion cubic feet in volume. Does this sound true to you?

No. A gas deposit that size would have been discovered a long time ago. The largest natural gas field in North America is the Prudhoe Bay field (also the largest oil field in North America. It holds about 27 trillion cubic feet (TCF). 200 TCF is an order of magnitude larger. If it is indeed that large, it is probably not commercial.
