Apply for credit cards. MAKE SURE THAT YOU PAY OFF THE BALANCE BY THE END OF THE MONTH. Making minumum payments is NOT good. There are some credit card companies that give credit cards to people with limited or no credit. (Capital One has a program like that). Also take out credit at department stores like JC Penny of Macy's or at furniture stores. Be on time with payments

If you have a local college that offers online classes, you should be able to sign up for them. But you may have to get special permissions ahead of time. Just as an FYI - I took both online and in-class courses at a college about 5 years ago. I enjoyed going back to school very much, but I also learned something else. The online courses took waaaay more out of me than the in-class ones. You'd think it'd be easier, but really it wasn't.

Credit is something that you build up over time. Ways to build up your credit is by paying back loans on or before time, not writing checks that over draw, not getting fined by your bank, making your morgtage payment, paying back your credit cards on time and promptly, etc. I'm sorry to say, but credit takes a long time to build up!
Best of luck to you!
