Heaven is described a little in the bible.
Basically streets made of pure gold they will be transparent, and something about 7 layers of jewels.
And we won't need a sun or anything, just God's glory will be bright enough.
no more suffering, physical of emotional.
We will get a beautiful mansions, and crowns.
We will experience colours and sounds we've never seen or heard before.
Our bodies will be perfect.
(Think of an awesome party that you never wanted to leave because you were having such a great time, heaven is something like that but will never end)

Robin Williams starred in a film about heaven and i liked that concept, where everything you could want exists when you will it, it is a place of no spatial dimensions, where it is not crowded as it exists beyond our imagination, there is no space, limits, confinement, it just 'is'. Where people have shed their skins and are still the same person but have decided to look different, where the memory you bring with you is how things appear until you learn that you are no longer limited by the constraint of the human mind.
Until, ultimately, we reach the source, God, and that is just light, eternal light.

I am not sure because I haven't really been there-yet. I had a glimpse of it, through a 'near-death' experience. I know that there many different levels to heaven. But, hey, You can live in heaven, right here on earth! I do, and it is simply- the only way to live!!!

why u all from christianity n islam bother baout heaven or hell so much...they r only temporary.....as a reward.....they r not a place to reside forever.....get rise up in spirituality...then nly u can know what is god.....n u will not bother about all these little things. heaven might be a place where u could get every happiness but still that happiness is not bigger than getting god's abode that is bhagwa dhaam...hope this helps.

When you reach peace within your soul.Besides we can't describe somthing we never seen. But we can have faith in it right. And for the athesist they don't belive in God or a higher power but they let little small pieces of green paper control there everyday lives. Whether anyone knows it or not as long as you're human you do belive in somthing whether a higher power or stupid materialistic objects.

an eternity worshiping jesus???. No thanks!!. The only people worth "worshiping" are those that I love and that have earned my respect here and now. At any rate if you believe in heaven you must be scared to death of hell - I mean, one little mistake? One time that you don't worship your jesus enough? From what the bible says and all the so called scourges that are going to be sent down upon earth, I'd be scared shitless to go to heaven in case I pissed jesus off and he decided to start his own little scourge mission in heaven.

Heaven is an imaginary place that Christians are told they go to when they die if they do everything a book made by men who are trying to control them wrote, whilst they lie and tell everyone that hell is a place of eternal torment for those that dont believe, yet he loves then. Gotta love the irony of that logic.

heaven is undescribable...
i think it's enough to know that you are going to live with God all the eternity and worship Him unstoppably...
so, why bother how heaven will be when you know all the above.
