We bought a Nintendo Wii along with Mario Party 8 and we can't sync the second controller with the game???
What are we doing wrong? It's work fine with the demo and with the Wii Play game. We'll appreciate any ideas. Thanks!!
Thanks John, We did what you said and it worked, but I have another question. Do I have to recconect it everytime we are going to play or should sync itself, even with others (new)games?

If you press the Home button on the 1st remote, then click Wii Remote Settings, and then Reconnect. Press 1 + 2 at the same time on the 1st remote, then 1 + 2 on the 2nd remote. Then press A and go back to the game. The 2nd Remote should be active.

If you take off the battery cover off the remote there should be a red button. Then if you open the cover on the front of the wii, there should be another button, press both of them at the same time and it should work. Good Luck! =)

To answer your second question, with my wii, I do not, it just stays in sync. But what I do is when you turn on your wii, press A on the second wii mote on the home screen. Then go in game.
So... No

Is the remote definitely switched on. If you press the B button on the underneath of the remote this will switch it on. If the remote is working with other games then it is obviously syncronised ok.

you have to reconnect everytime you pllay. the 1st controller is the only controller that "syncs"
