No. Actually I've commented many times about how I don't answer here much because I don't like sun sign generalisations.
There's so much fighting and hostility on here. So it is imperative to browse though the questions and be discerning about what's really interesting. The first thing I avoid is the generalities about sun signs. The second thing I avoid is fighting and hostilities.
I don't see how someone with a good background in astrology can think a person is simply his or her sun sign. Of the entire population, everyone falls into one of the twelve. It's ridiculous to think that everyone on the planet who is a Scorpio is like five or ten Scorpios who might be jerks.

I have no prejudice against other signs whatsoever, but I have seen it in some people's answers before. For me, there is much too much going on in a chart to group all people into a certain category. I have friends of all signs, and I have people that I've disliked of all signs. There has been no particular pattern for me, so I have no need to feel prejudice. It can be easy to use that as an excuse if you have had problems with a person, or number of people, by pointing out their sign as a scapegoat for whatever problems there were...But like the Libra I am, I don't think that is fair to group everyone in a category based on their sun sign. We are all individuals with free will, and a different upbringing as well. Regardless of the chart.

We can redeem ourselves individually, but some genralizations about astrology are true. That's the whole point, isn't it? To find the patterns? If we say that there are no patterns, then why believe in astrology to begin with? The key is to determine if you fit those patterns or not, what your own strengths and weaknesses are, and to fix your weaknesses and use your strengths. There are some negative stereotypes about Scorpios that are certainly true. We have a very utilitarian approach to friendships which makes it seem like we are using people, we can be short-tempered, and we are obstinate. I am guilty of all of these. Many Scorpios also deal with jealousy issues and self-righteousness. I have been guilty of these in the past, but I have worked on these over the years and am much better now in these categories. Additionally, we are accused of wanting to seek revenge and many Scorpios are guilty of this. I personally am not as I believe karma will take care of things. Perhaps I am just a more evolved Scorpio (eagle) or there is something else in my chart that makes me believe this. But I do know revenge-seeking is considered a typical Scorpio trait for a reason. And then there is the issue of sex. We can be sex-crazed, but I am very religious, so I am very controlled in this regard. But my first bf was a Scorpio and he was sex-crazed, so I can see how that may be true. If we don't harness our self-control or if we don't have religion in our lives, we can become addicted to sex. Anyway, as I said. I can redeem myself, but that doesn't mean we should throw all astrological generalizations out the window. There's a reason why Leos are considered attention-mongering, Geminis are considered two-faced, and Sags are considered sexually loose. Just because you aren't doesn't make these patterns and generalizations false. Also, if you take into account a whole chart, you can usually see why some sun-sign generalizations don't apply to certain people. Or people just grow up and mature, which is normal. The key is to not generalize others before knowing them. Use astrology to understand behaviors that people are already exhibiting. Don't pin behaviors onto people who have not demonstrated them yet. Astrological patterns should be used to understand, not to pigeon-hole and judge.

I have seen this done on here where they were kind of "bashing" other signs like scorpio's or cancer's for no reason, but i don't really have a sign that i have any prejudice against, because bias against certain signs is kind of immature. When i answer questions on here i don't make it obvious that i have a problem with anybody's sign i just try to answer to my best ability.I don't have a particular prejudice against any sign in general, and if i ever did show any kind of prejudice in my answers towards a certain sign it would only make me look like a fool, and that wouldn't be something that i would want.I think that in general in my opinion all the horoscope signs are equal(and here's my libra rising coming out),but seriously i would like to think that there are good and bad characteristics in each of the signs, and if i or anyone show's an indication in my answers that i have a prejudice towards a sign then i think thats just silly.

Lol.. When I first joined here about 2 mos ago, I am really prejudiced.. I tend to associate the signs with experiences.. Like how I hate my cancer friend's moodiness etc.. But now that I've learned a few things here, on internet and astro books that I've come across, I would say not anymore. My answers won't generally indicate any prejudice for any sign, it will only reveal how vain I am for answering questions which relates to me, my sun sign, moon, rising etc..lol =) There's a lot more for me to learn so I don't answer questions I knew little about.

I do have 1 prejudice and that is that my sign is the best =P
If you looked at all of my horoscope answers you would see that I treat every other sign very objectively and equally.
When asking for the "best" of something I tend to lean toward Aquarius because that is what I am. ^.^
Otherwise to me everyone else is just another sign... unless I am dating someone then I tend to like their sign more; which can translate into a prejudice <.<. (but I still wont like her sign as much as my own =P)
O i just remembed that I do tend to like air signs a little more... but again unless it is Aquarius it wont get too many brownie points from me.

Well yeah, Aries and scorpio.
My mum is a scoprio and we have an extremely close, love hate relationship. It's mostly love, but, you cannot help remembering the hate.
Aries because these people seldom care about anyone but themselves - it's a me first, no matter how hard they try to hide it.
Geminian people have always got my goat, except for the intense geminians (sun-moon gem and others) because they are not focused and it seems like they're playing games.

I have problems with Pisces because of a past reason. Now, I try to be unbiased when I answer questions about them, but when I'm angry, I couldn't help but show some prejudice. Before when the problem just started, I disses them and insult them in every way I could. Now, I try to control myself.
The thing is, do understand that the reason why I dislike them so much is because I love them so much.

Hi Dee,
Umm, not to the point of rejecting someone just because of his/her Sun sign...I have to admit, though, that I'm much more cautious about certain people when I'm aware of their signs...Although I have some sort of "magnet" for those whom I don't like...I can trace them from a mile, even before I know their Sun sign.
When I have to answer a question which might be influenced by my "lack of liking", let's say, for a certain sign, I usually mention it in order for the asker to know I may be biased...Although, I do prefer to avoid the kind of questions, my answer to which might be influenced by my personal views.
Generally, I prefer to experience the behaviour of every individual before succumbing to the trap of stereotyping.

I don't think that mine would. At least I'm not consciously biased towards or against any one sign or another. I try to be as positive and impartial as I can be in regards to commenting on the signs in general, so that I'm not spreading any kind of bias around. I don't like seeing it coming from other people, so I do my best not to do it myself.
I think it's really just wrong to do that, frankly.
