Would this be a big deal when writing a book?
So for one of my books, the characters enter the world by a snowfall, the first snowfall they've seen all winter. But it gets out of hand and turns into what I guess you could call a snowstorm. In another book, a large portion of the conflict is other characters journeying through an upcoming blizzard/storm (Which is much worse) So, would I need to change much, or could I use two storms, I am writing seven novels.
What do you think??

i don't know i think that unless they were in different environments(forest and plain) then it would seem to repeating and i would use something else... but if you describe them different enough then yoou would be fine to do it in 7 different novels

I would think that 2 snowstorms in 7 novels is a good idea. It gives the reader more of a real feeling and snowstorms are not used THAT often.
Good luck!!
