Why do Corn Pops and Honey Smacks come in different packaging?

You know, that waxy/foil/paper bag inside the box, instead of the regular plastic bags that all other cereals come in? It tears easy and is way hard to pour. Insights?

The coating (glaze) they use will get sticky and the cereal will clump in a poly bag.

Kelloggs corn flakes come in a plastic bag.

It's the way Kellogg's packages their cereal. I think the foil is to better keep the sugary cereals from becoming stale, and sticky.

Well if they are made by different brands thats why. But if not then probably because they suppose they taste different. Good question!
