Is the "Scorpio Death Pattern" true?

Question

"One of the strangest patterns in Astrology is the death of a relative in the family within either a year before or the year after the birth of a Scorpio. And when a Scorpio dies, there will be a birth in the family within the year before or the year after." *

I have read this many times in my favorite Astrology book, but I never really took it too seriously. Within the last year though, I've noticed this pattern in my family. Every time it turns out to be true.

Have you noticed this pattern with Scorpios? Does it have that much influence?

Yes....I'm not sure how far back it goes though but in my husband's family....from his first marriage had his first son (a scorpio nov 9th) and within 5 months his brother who was 19 who had heart probs since he was little died :(    Very sad but yes I read this too and thought about it and it happned here.  My husband is a scorp too by the way so I dont know if anything like that happened when he was born or not.

It would make sense because Scorpio has to do with death and birth because it's associated with the eighth house. There aren't any Scorpios in my family except for my cousin  [born November 13], so I'm not sure.

Hmm...That's interesting, I have never heard of that before. Would that really be true of all Scorpio suns? 

I'm not a Scorpio, but I had two family members die, one a year before I was born, and another a year after....

Now that I think about it, it happened in my family too. My cousin who was born on Oct. 31, 2006, a year later my grandma past away. I'm feeling sad right now x(

scorpio neice born in 2005,no deaths in the family for 6 years,and no one born  in the family since her.so,no.her birthday.oct 30th.(scorpio).

I'm not sure if it's universally true but it happend to me. 

I was born a year before 3 of my relatives died and one of my relatives was born a year after me.

I have read that phenomenon also in a couple of astrological texts.  I would say it does pan out as a truth in about 75% of those I ask when doing their charts if they are Scorpio.

I've actually never seen this phenomenon...interesting tho.

True AND false. We will all die, period, so it does not matter how much we love. Therefore, death is stronger than love. At the same time, God IS love, and Jesus defeated death, and Jesus is God, so, in that sense, love is stronger than death.
