If humans are causing global warming, why is it also happening on other planets?

well never have i seen so many scientists ever converge on one spot that doesnt know the difference between to and too.

CO2 is made primarily by the sun. to think we have even a little blame on global warming is TOO funny.(notice the too reference)

I believe in human and energy evolution, just look at where we were 100yrs ago! Think about where we will be in 100yrs from now. The human race will not go over any cliff, we will optimize and regulate and evolve forward. There is no need to go backwards. Wind and solar are recreational energies, fossil fuels are industrial energies.

Our research should be in getting better efficiency and reduced emissions with our World established and effective fossil fuels.

Continue optimization research in other areas also, then use the best energy source to suit the given need. Simple.

Wind and solar are currently incapable of many tasks that need to be done every day. They may NEVER be capable. We may discover some muffler system that recycles CO2 in the engine for a clean burn, we may come up with an engine that burns CO2 in the process? We can innovate, without restriction. Why is there no consideration on improvement and innovation? I will tell you why... it is all about Taxation and control. It has nothing to do with climate!

There are three fundamental flaws in the 'other planets are warming' argument:

1. Not all planets are warming - some are cooling

2. The sun has shown no long term trend since 1950

3. There are explanations for why other planets are warming

When you get on a plane with lots of other people, and you're all flying to the same city, do you think you're all doing it for the same reason? That's equivalent to the question you asked. Just because it's warming on Earth and may be warming on another planet doesn't mean they're warming for the same reason.

And by the way, saying "Al Gore church of global warming" is very insulting to the thousands of scientists that are working on the research.

Global warming can be natural as well as unnatural. In the past, there have been many times when global warming has occured naturally. This is a slow process though. What is happening right now is different because it is happening at a faster rate. Humans are making pollution that speeds up the natural occurrence. Also, if you look at graphs of CO2 levels in the past, you can see that the levels are higher today than they have ever been because of humans.

I don't think you've thought this through. Let me ask you some (rhetorical) questions.

If the warming on Earth and other planets were due to the sun alone, wouldn't all the other planets be warming? What do you think is the reason that is not the case? Maybe because each planet has its own warming and cooling mechanisms?
