Moths lay eggs on the tomato plants. Most worms feed on the leaves: tomato budworm, tomato pinworm, hornworm and vegetable leafminer. Tomato fruitworm attacks the fruit. Nematodes attack the roots. In addition, tomato is also attacked by beetles, aphids, whiteflies and thrips.

Cutworms, tomato hornworms attack the plant/leaves part, while the tomato fruitworm consumes the fruit itself.
