I don't know but it is growing in my garden this year, and I have never saw it any other year!*

It looks like it could be a young locust tree of some kind. Black locust and honey locust are most common in my area, but there may be others around you. If there are mature locust trees in your neighborhood that's almost certainly what it is. Trees set copious seeds and can even spout from the roots. Young trees even come up in patio containers sometimes.

it could possibly be a ginko. . .it is a little too early to tell. . see if you have a femail ginko around, if you do there is a god chance of it.
