You think Mariah Carey's voice is in decline?

I think so, because she can't even sing HERO like she used to do it and when you hear singers, like Monica Naranjo, they voices sound the same as they did ten years ago. Her voice is in decline also for the whistle register. That thing damage your voice a lot and it also damages the middle part of your inner ear.

Here is the proof:

The fist one is from a concert on New York in 1993 and the second one is from 2008.

This is very sad and disappointing. Thanks for your answer.

the whistle register has no musical value anyway. anyone who has that will lose it naturally. it's a freak kind of thing.

whilst Mariah has/had a 9 octave variety (in accordance to comments), Whitney has/had a extra helpful voice. whilst i've got no longer heard any new Whitney textile for a whilst, I would desire to declare that i think of Mariah is finally looking her own "sound", as a replace of attempting to constantly hit the severe notes, she's particularly sounding extra effective now than she did interior the 80s and 90s. a million/2 the time, she could do a great number of those vocal runs, and you could virtually forget approximately what music she grew to become into making a music! the two great singers, yet different of their types.
