1. Remove color cartridge; unplug printer; wipe electrical contacts on both cartridge and cartridge-socket on the carriage assembly with a cotton tissue and alcohol, then let dry; hard shake cartridge, with nozzles in lower position; plug printer; install cartridge again.

2. Click "Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services/Print Spooler" and click "Restart" the service.

3. Try again; if it's the same situation, change the color cartridge with a new one.

Sounds like the ink cartridge is out of ink.

Open the lid of the printer and pop the ink cartridge out.

Use a kleenex and gently wipe across the nozzles on the bottom to make sure the ink isn't jammed.

Reinsert the cartridge and restart the printer.

If you still get the error, replace the tricolor cartridge.

Get a new color cartridge and install it in your printer.

Check your color cartridge. Have you replaced it recently? Try taking it out and putting it back in. It may be installed wrong.

Try doing a test page or a cleaner check thingy :)

Or maybe it has just simply ran out.

Take it out n put it back in if u can lol i duno thats wot i wud do

Did you take off the tape on the new cartridge before you installed it?

your printer must has three different colors you may haven't put them right

you can also reinstall the printer software

check if your ink cartridges are low in ink

ok... maybe ur tricolor is finished.. are u sure its not empty, the ink cartridge?
