For the standard 3-week service by post, £72 (your first adult passport will take 6 weeks).
Via "check and send" at certain Post Offices: £72.
If you need to replace a lost or damaged passport, or renew an existing adult passport, an alternative to the ordinary £72 services is to make an appointment and go to your local Passport Office for 1-week Fast Track service - £97.
Same day premium service at the Passport Office for a renewal - £114.

Since you have gotten a lot of contradictory answers, here is the actual info from the UK Identity and Passport Service, I'm assuming you are in the UK at this time. This is your first adult passport and you apply as that: " * Application options: my first adult passport (aged 16 or over, or a child likely to become 16 before we can issue a passport)"

I juts renewed mine, I think it was about £80 with the Post Offices check and send service, which I strongly advise you use.
