God hates lying, and those who continue to lie, God would label as a 'Liar'. Christians won't get away with lying or anything else because God is watching their every move like He is with everyone else.

Yes, lying is a sin. One of the ten commandments is "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour." Regardless of who lies, whether they are a Christian or anything else, it will count against them when God judges the merits of a person's life when they die. In fact, the more clearly a person understands that lying is wrong, the more a lie will be counted against them.
A person's intentions in taking an action play into whether God counts it as a positive or a negative act. If a person passes along misinformed information which they think is accurate, and does so with the intention of leading others to a way of life they consider holy, it is not seen as being done with ill intent. However, if a person is not sure the information about the other religion is accurate, they should be truthful and admit that they aren't completely sure of their information.

Truth hurts does it not?.. Hostility, I see we have become intimidated. In America we call it The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws "respecting an establishment of religion" (the Establishment Clause) or that prohibit free exercise of religion (the Free Exercise Clause), laws that infringe the freedom of speech, infringe the freedom of the press, limit the right to peaceably assemble, or limit the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

There are some Christians who do that but I believe myself that Christ is the only way. I used to be a muslim for 2 months but never felt the answered prayers or the personal relationship with GOD. As a christian I know GOD is here with me and he sends me messages through people and answers my prayers. I don't get into other peoples religion because why should I.
Source(s): Christians do that because they care and know what they have - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

I don't think a lot of it in conscious lying. I think it's misinformation. Or, their interpretation of the world is.. different. For instance, I am a Wiccan. No matter what I say, some Christians will believe I worship Satan. Even if I explain I don't even believe in Satan, they will tell me I am worshiping him and I don't even know it because it's all a clever trick. They honestly believe what they're saying, so it's not exactly lying. More like, delusion.

There is but ONE solution to mankinds problem that has Gods approval. It is Christianity...biblical Christianity.
The truth is that religion is NOT Gods idea at ALL. It is mans feeble attempt to reach God. God has made but ONE way to come to Him and that is thru the Cross....not thru a denomination or a "religion."
NO One will be in hell for their sins. That is what the Cross is all about. God actually did something with the sins that He died for! He removed them from His sight forever. NO one will be judged for their sins...Jesus paid the price for all sin for all time for all persons. THAT is the good news of the Cross.
There is NO reason for anyone to end up in hell except for UNBELIEF in the Sin Bearer/Jesus Christ.
Learn the FACTS and stop defending a "religion" that may be not of God to begin with. If the Cross isn't part of the equation, then you are buying into satans plan of evil which has to do with "religion."

Thou shall not bear false wittness, thats the ninth commandment of God. All this "Go to hell" stuff is stupid. Simply, as the Word tells us, "if you reject Jesus Christ before man He will reject you before God The Father; whom gave Him Power and Honor and Glory to Rule over all mankind. Those who reject (for even the demons know and fear the name of Jesus Christ and know He exists)those will spend eternity seperated from God, that is hell--plenty of time alone to regret your moment of fun.
Edit-Levite; there is a "Christian letter contradicting your example of "the land letter for war" This letter condems any premptive strike againest Iraq, also from Wikipedia-On September 13, 2002, US Catholic bishops signed a letter to President Bush stating that any "preemptive, unilateral use of military force to overthrow the government of Iraq" could not be justified at the time. They came to this position by evaluating whether an attack against Iraq would satisfy the criteria for a just war as defined by Catholic theology. [15]
The Vatican also came out against war in Iraq. Archbishop Renato Raffaele Martino, a former U.N. envoy and current prefect of the Council for Justice and Peace, told reporters that war against Iraq was a preventive war and constituted a "war of aggression", and thus did not constitute a just war. The foreign minister, Archbishop Jean-Louis Tauran, expressed concerns that a war in Iraq would inflame anti-Christian feelings in the Islamic world. On February 8, 2003, Pope John Paul II said "we should never resign ourselves, almost as if war is inevitable." [16]
Both the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey, and his successor, Rowan Williams, spoke out against war with Iraq.
The executive committee of the World Council of Churches, an organization representing churches with a combined membership of between 350 million and 450 million Christians from over 100 countries, [17] issued a statement in opposition to war with Iraq, stating that "War against Iraq would be immoral, unwise, and in breach of the principles of the United Nations Charter." [18]
Jim Wallis of Sojourners Magazine has argued that, among both evangelical Christians and Catholics, "most major church bodies around the world" opposed the war.[39]

no! God is not a respector of persons if a christian sins they are chastened by their heavenly father the same way an earthly father should discipline his child.
Christians are not exempt for correction.
Hebrews 12:11-17
11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

If you are truly a christian then you will not lie and if you are a christian and lie you do not go to hell since you are saved but there will be degree of punishment.
