Hi guetz,
There is no correct answer. It's like the saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", it's up to each individual to choose which is correct - or whom they find beautiful.

Ideally both are correct. If you love your work than you live to work and by doing this you automatically work to live...

Work to live is the ideal. Live to work is the reality.
I would like to be able to 'work to live' but, the reality is, I have to 'live to work', much like most people do.

I'm gonna have to go with CatZ answer.. it depends on who you ask! Alot of people would say work to live, but I have known more than one person to fall into very ill health after retiring and sitting on the recliner!

neither, live to have fun... think of when you're 100 are you going to remember how much money you had or the great times you had? honestly just work enough to support you and your family and to have some extra to go out and have a fun time and live life

If you live to work, you're not necessarily working for money, but if you're working to live, you are. And that "work" may be something you don't enjoy doing- it may be that you're "just doing it for the money".

live to work.
not necessarily on careers but work on life itself.
through all the troubles, events, emotions, and all the possible experiences.
work through all these things to make life worth living.

work to live for sure
people weren't created just to work

although both could be true, what do you work for? to have things in life = to live.
