lesbian proposal?

After how long in a lesbian relationship do you thinking it is okay to propose? I'm not trying to U-Haul. I would prefer avg time spans rather then just "whenever it feels right"?

Update:

keep in mind that i plan on getting married in canada

General rule of thumb for me: You need to be with that person long enough to know a few things:

how they handle financial stress (long-term) (will she adapt or fall apart?)

how they handle emotional stress (with someone they care about and someone they don't)

how they handle extra money (do they look tothe future with it or go for the moment?)

The answers aren't a right and wrong choice. They're meant to help you decide if the way that person deals with things ultimately will mesh with the way you deal with things. I'm not saying it has to be the same - that's what compromising is for - but it definately can't go against your basic beliefs.

If you can imagine waking up to her and h=going to sleep with her for the rest of your life go ahead. Make sure that this is a person that you can see yourself growing with. That won't bail out when times get tough. Make sure that you both love each other unconditionally.

ifGwen and I had known each other for over a year before she asked quite suddenly I I thought we should buy a house and live together. I looked and she was smiling..

I can still call that look to mind.

follow your heart, and see if it's a good idea or not....
