What is the best place to find cheap window valances?
We are moving to an old farmhouse where to decor is somewhat primitive. I would like to keep it that way and need to dress the windows in most rooms. Can anyone give me a store or a website where I can find cheap but cute country valances? I need to buy 10-12 and I don't want to spend a ton of money. By cheap I mean like under $10 each.

Walmart, Target and Marshalls are always good. But, if you can stitch a straight hem, you might do well to make them, too.

I would recommend shopping the discount houses in the area to see what they have in their clearance sections. Places like Gabriel Bros, Big Lots, even Target. You might also check out places like Linen Loft, Burlington, Ross, Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Sometimes you can find great deals........you just have to watch for them.

If hubby doesn't have the tools to cut them out find an old carpenter in the neighborhood and have him cut them out...should be simple........nite
