I need a little help with a surprise party invitation for a man who will be 55. How do you eloquently ask for 'gag gifts only'.

My boyfriend is diabetic. I need some ideas for side dishes when he comes over for dinner. I know the bright colored vegetables are best but what about a substitute for potato or rice? I could really use some ideas and/or recipes. Thanks!

I have recently become allergic to latex. What does a single woman do now?

I was thinking of BBQ or Ham & Turkey or Chicken and Tuna salad for sandwiches with a macaroni salad, lettuce salad, broccoli salad, and vegetable tray. An all salad luncheon would also be fun. I'll definitely be making Chocolate dipped strawberries and some type of dessert. I have also considered making a ziti pasta dish and having lettuce salad with garlic toast.

I would like some other ideas and opinions or menu suggestions. Ladies..........your opinions please!

The bottles are from root beer, wine coolers and the like. Where do I take them in Delaware to cash them in? Delaware is the closest state that pays cash for these bottles. Anyone know where to take them?

I am going to a dance tonight and need to take an appetizer or finger food. Someone else is bringing chips and some sort of guacamole dip. Any ideas that are tasty, easy to make, and can be left out for a few hours. I can't keep it warm, so it needs to be good cold. Thanks!

I am a 53 year old female who has not mowed the lawn myself in over 17 years. I have trouble starting mowers with the pull cord, so I purchased an electric start lawn mower and that works great. I need to purchase a light weight string trimmer that does not have a pull start. I would prefer to not have an electric because of the cord, however, all the reviews say electric has more power than battery operated. I own my own home, and have a small amount of trimming to do. I only need to trim along my drive and sidewalk, landscaped area and a fence line. All trimming should take approx 20 minutes to finish.

Anybody out there who has been in my situation and is happy with their purchase? I would appreciate your recommendation.

For "natural" microwave popcorn:

Put 1/2 cup popcorn kernels in the bottom of a paper lunch bag with 1 pat of organic butter and salt.

Close bag with 1 staple (don't worry it won't explode) or tape.

Push popcorn button on the microwave.

Wait and.... Voila!!

Yummy popcorn!
