I was put on Progesterone suppositories when I found out I was pregnant (6 weeks) after 12 months of ttc with no results and then 3 months of Clomid. My son was born prefectly normal! It's pretty common according to my doctor. Just continue with what your doctor prescribes and have a healthy and happy pregnancy!!

My spouse has PCOS and took progesterone suppositories for all her pregnancies such as final being pregnant (which worked out positive, have a healthful infant boy) and taking precise now with contemporary being pregnant (until eventually ultimately 12 weeks). formerly those 2 pregnancies, she had additionally miscarried around 11 weeks (she became advised to end taking progesterone at 10 weeks, which in hindsight, we would desire to consistently no longer have completed). So be advantageous to take progesterone until eventually ultimately 12 weeks, no longer 10 weeks as some surgeon advise. With contemporary being pregnant, she did bleed assorted circumstances early on (between week 5 - week 7) inspite of the progesterone suppositories - so possibly it became some subchrionic bleeding extremely than bleeding via low progesterone. The bleeding went away and has stayed away (now 15 weeks pregnant and all is definitely). With the previous 2 pregnancies, she somewhat observed. Given PCOS, proceed to take metformin for the 1st trimester and perchance even infant aspirin for the 1st trimester besides. sturdy success.
