Do both XBox 360 and PSP 3 play blu ray disks?
We just bought a LCD high definition compatible television. We would like to get a player which plays both conventional DVD's and Blu Ray disks. I am also a gamer. Do both XBox and PSP play blu ray, or is it just the PSP?

no just the PS3 plays blu ray disc but coming this holiday it is confirmed that xbox 360 will have built in blu ray but for right now only the PS3 is the only system

Playstation 3 can only play blu-ray discs.
However Xbox 360 can play HD dvd's if you buy the HD dvd player accessory.

PSP plays UMDs, not Blu-Ray. PS3 is the one that plays Blu-ray.
The XBOX 360 is DVD based, but they sold an HD DVD player add-on until the HD DVD format died. It currently cannot play Blu-Ray.

PS3 not PSP plays Blue-Ray.
Xbox 360 does not play Blue-Ray.
The 360 does have a HDDVD drive though.
Both play regular DVDs
Buy the PS3 if you want a Blue-Ray player.

the x box can do hd dvd's and teh ps3 can do blu ray.

ps3 is the only one that does blue ray discs box360 plays regular dvds
