Do you think Dwain Chambers should be allowed to run?
If the High Court clears Dwain Chambers to run and assuming he makes the necessary time, do you think this drug-cheat should be allowed to compete in the Olympics? He says he's 'clean' and that may be the case, but I don't think that a man who only achieved his past results by cheating should represent Great Britain and would question the value to this country of any medal he might win. It is my hope that even if he's cleared to run that the selectors won't pick him. (I hope they're not obliged to). What do you think?

No, Dwain Chambers should not be allowed to run, not as an athlete for the British Olympic Team in Beijing or anywhere else.
It is time to get hard with those athletes, such as Dwain Chambers who use performance enhancing drugs to win gold.
You see by allowing one athlete, Dwain Chambers, to get away with it, that's sending a signal to everyone to follow suit, that it's okay and no worries the courts will sort it all out for you etc.
By taking performance enhancing drugs and winning gold, Dwain Chambers has denied a real athlete the gold medal.
I'm entirely sick of hearing about people such as Dwain Chambers - all the lime-light is falling on him, when it should be falling upon our great athletes who are going to win gold for Britain at the Olympic Games Beijing 2008.

Good luck to all those athletes of the world who will be taking part at the Olympic Games in Bejing 2008

Certainly not, he is a disgrace to Great Britain,he was found positive, so the life ban should stay. I have no pity for him, I agree with the answer posted by Joan K.

No, he knowingly broke the rules by taking drugs and knew what the consequences would be. He's a disgrace to athletics and I wouldn't want to see him representing Great Britain.

The British Olympic commitee law is quite simple - Caught using banned sustances then you are barred for life. And that's it!!
This was in force when he took the drugs and he was aware of it.
No he shouldn't be able to run.

No and there'd be little point picking him, even if he ran and won, I don't think any decent athletes would want to share a medal ceremony with him! I think it would just cause friction

If I turned up for work, and was tested positive, I would expect to get the sack.He is banned so he should stay banned.A disgrace.
