Why are a lot of electronics on ebay sold brand new without origional packaging?

most of the stuff like that might be factory seconds. it had problems before people sent it back they fixed them and sell them cheaper then the others.

The only way to know for sure is to ask the seller. A lot of people throw out packaging the second they get a product home, so when they go to resell it, they have no manuals or anything.

Could be store display models. Many retailers sell on eBay.

The webcam you mentioned probably came with a package, like a HP or Dell package system, and the owner has no use for it.

And of course, the stuff could be stolen. Very unlikely, but it does happen.
