Whatever day it starts, start the pills on the following Sunday. If you start on Friday, start the pills Sunday. If you start on Sunday, start the pills that day. You can start them today, in fact, take one now. The first sunday is about remembering when to start the new pack. Its still close enough to your period to work well without upsetting your cycle.
