movie title help?

can you help me with the title of this movie?

it was made between the 80's and early 90's..

the story is similiar to a film by amanda bynes called she's the man...

anyways here is what i can recall...

the girl went to school at another highschool and pretended to be a boy..she then befriends a popular guy and fells in love with him...

another scene i can recall is that..on the night of the highschool dance the girl decides to confess her secret to the guy and kisses him...the guy thinks the girl is gay...so to show the guy proof she shows him her breasts...thats all i can remember...hehehe

    The movie is "Just One of the Guys" where the fishes like pizza and the litte brother is a perve. I forgot the girls name but she did it to prove something to the school paper and she turned an unpopular guy into a popular guy than fell for him. I remember her name was Alex and she looked like the Karate kid.

    I don't know about a movie, but i remember there was a television show that was the same. And the girl actually is Shane from the L word.

    The series were called, "Young Americans" you can watch them on you tube.

    This may not be what you're looking for but it's all i can come up with for now

    sorry i don't know this movie, but I know the movie ladybug where the guy dresses like a girl to be on a soccer team, and then he like falls for one of the girls on the team, and then the girl thinks she (really he) is gay
