How much for a cam belt to be fitted?
on a citroen zara 2ltr diesel, 4 years old.

I know that at the local garage were I live county durham they will charge about £110 with parts.
Fitting a cam belt is not really a big, difficult job but if you don't feel confident doing it, its probably best to get the garage to do it.

£60 for cash ,
Double that at a garage
Treble that at a main dealer
Good advice from "probablygraham" also make sure that the tensioners and water pump condition is checked at the same time.

Not sure of the price but don't try to do it yourself unless you're pretty confident you know how. Easiest way to wreck an engine is mess up when changing it.
