What can I do about my dread locks getting wet during summer activities?
I'm going to a water park this weekend and again on 23rd of July. I need to know what I can do about keeping my hair managable. It is very hard to dry locks after being wet for a long period of time. I don't want to put them in a style. For fear of the locks not drying properly and growing mildew. Also I have curly hair which gets frizzy. Unfortunately I can't fit them under a bathing cap. A shower cap only covers the ends.
Please if you have no knowledge of black hair don't give an answer. I'm not cutting my hair.

It should be alright just a couple of times. Just relax and enjoy yourself! If it makes you feel better you could use a blow drier after they've been wet just to help them dry off. And leave them down and uncovered while they're drying.
