Did god have to remake all the plants when they died?

I mean he did not create the sun until day four, while plants were created on day two.

Did he have to replace all these frozen plants, or is this some more 'mysterious ways'?

And before you say this is not true, look it up. It's on the first page of Genesis. Unlike fundies I do not need to make stuff up. The Bible already does that for me.

Update:

Imarie96: YOUR Bible says that the sun was created long after the plants. There may have been light, but the sun is the necessary energy source for all life on Earth.

actually, the plants survive the flood. amazing I know but recall the story of the flood. the dove went out and brought back the leaf of a tree in order for Noah to know when things dried up.

I always wondered why Noah just didn't look around when he opened the window to let the bird out. but oh well!

Didn't create the moon till after the plants either. And given the wobble our elliptical planet would have without the moon present, the temperature extremes would have killed everything.

The bible is true because it says it is true.

    Sorry that's the best I've got :)
