How do I bake a two layer cake in an oven that gets too hot?

My oven can be set at 350 and it will burn whatever is in in it. I don't know what I can do to remedy the problem.

Advance or AutoZone will check the codes for free. They sell cheap-o-china parts also.

My oven is a hot one also. Try setting it at 250 instead. The temp settings on your oven are off.(too high for what they say they are)

we have this same problem and have found the perfect solution.

you can get an oven thermometer (forget where we got ours), probably any place sells appliances, put it in there, pretty soon you'll learn the relationship between oven control setting and interior temperature.
