Exercises before charity boat race?

Next weekend I am taking part in a charity dragon boat race and we will be rowing. I’m not a member of a gym, but I was wondering if there are any simple exercises that I can do at home over the week just to loosen the muscles that I’ll be using so I don’t end up hurting for days afterward!

Thanks

Update:

Basically, in the race I will be using muscles I am not used to using and I assume that even if I stretch out before the race I will still ache the next day just because different muscles are doing different things. I'm looking for specific exercises to get some activity into those muscles. I realise that a week before isn't a great time to start doing it, but I figured its better than an hour before...

This might not work for you, but I'm sure it will (hopefully), OK i race windsurfing and on Monday i do 1 mile run, Tuesday i do 2 mile run, Wednesday i do 3 mile run, Thursday i do 4 mile run, Friday i do 5 mile run..... and so on ... on Monday i start with 1 mile run again....

Maybe if you find it hard to run, walk FAST or you could just make sure that you run at least a little bit further everyday, maybe try and eat a little healthier (i don't mean change you whole diet) I'm just saying to add an apple or banana at lunch or breakfast, maybe for tea put a little bit of salad on the side.. I have to say that my trainer would NEVER let me have choc muffins so maybe stay of them until you have done the race. (that's if you eat them lol)

Don't start eating only healthy food now, because it will be a big difference your body wont no whats happening and you COULD lose allot of energy.

Good luck on the race, i hope it goes well x
