McCain on Iran: No direct talk with Iran; talk is over-rated. Agree or disagree?

Disagree. Kennedy used diplomacy to avoid nuclear confrontation with the Soviets, and Reagen used diplomacy with the Soviets when they had over 30,000 nuclear warheads. So, why is McCain complaining when Iran has.... 0. The only thing McCain can think of is war, and the barrel of a gun. Using this type of mentality will affect us, and the world, considering Russia and China have backed Iran. We are over-stepping a line right now with the Iraq occupation and Afghanistan. Invading, or bombing Iran will surely cause a ww3, and we can surely "thank" McCain for another war. Like I said, diplomacy is the way to go. Wars, invasions, sanctions, blockades, and a nuclear first strike are for sissies, in other words, cowards. Thanks for the question.

I disagree. People should always try to talk things out... there are plenty of ways to get countries to do what we want without resorting to war and violence. War should be used as last resort... only when there is no other choice.

I think people sometimes forget that the victims of war are regular people like you and me. It's children, the old and women that are killed more often than the "bad guys".

Disagree. Why do repugs fret over inexperience when McWar demonstrates inexperience in dealing with critical foreign policy issues? McWar proves that he is incapable of negotiating with other countries.

Agreed. Iran has shown no interest in compromise on any position whatever; talk would be a waste of time.
